Nidhi Chawla

Ms. Nidhi Chawla is the co-founder of Silver Talkies, an information and engagement platform for older adults. Silver Talkies – a social enterprise since 2014, runs a digital magazine www.silvertalkies.com focused on older adults. The startup also organizes a wide variety of events and workshops in Bangalore, giving seniors new avenues of engagement; runs three different formats of social clubs fostering friendships and camaraderie among seniors, facilitates second career opportunities; offers benefits & discounts through its partner tie-ups and much more.

Ms. Chawla is passionate about working with seniors and firmly believes that seniors need to be self-empowered and take charge of their own well-being by staying active and productively engaged. She has been actively involved in the industry and has been offering guidance and thought leadership with other organisations and experts. Through Silver Talkies, Ms. Chawla aims to empower, enrich, equip and engage older adults and make active ageing a desirable and viable goal for them. Prior to starting Silver Talkies, she has worked with McKinsey & Company and SREI International Securities.
