Neera Pant, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Psychology, Gargi College, University of Delhi, India. She has been teaching for over twenty-five years at the University. Her research interests lie in Positive Psychology. As a part of her Doctoral thesis she developed a measure of Emotional Intelligence. She has supervised Doctoral theses in the same area. She has presented papers at National and International Conferences. In July 2015 she presented a paper at Stanford University, California, USA, based on her work on Emotional Identification. Currently she is a mentoring a Mental Health peer-to-peer support group called Izhaar. She presented the work of Izhaar at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bangaluru, in 2018. She is extensively engaged with training students to spread awareness about mental health and to try and break the stigma associated with the same.
