Brent and Kilburn Times: Reporter and Feature writer training with the local Paper covering stories interviewing politicians, writing from press releases, covering local events, interviewing by telephone local schools, wrote for Asian Business Magazine: Interview published in the business magazine. I -reporter for CNN.

Positions of Responsibility

I have introduced a lot of people in the British Organisation. I’ve organised various conferences in the Houses of Parliament for last three-years. Some of my work includes Palestine, Human rights in Sri Lanka, Mayoral Election Husting- meeting, Obama meeting in Parliament on winning his election: What it meant to the British Public, AGM meeting for the British organisation, East London mini-conference and my current project is the Women’s Conference taking place on October 30,
2013 in the House of Commons.

I have a good understanding of civil society organisations, participatory governance and capacity development frameworks and methodology, strong programme management skills and extensive experience in the design and delivery of capacity development interventions for civil society organisations (CSOs). I have worked with an international development organisation with field experience. This is as an asset. I have gained the ability to manage complex projects that cover
multiple countries and regions. I have the knowledge and understanding of working in a developing country and of international development issues, trends and approaches.
I attend EC- meetings and have increased membership by 75%. Worked with 12 member committee. Prepared conference papers, Minutes at EC-Meetings. Liaison with over hundred organisations.

Other Skills and Achievements
I am on the digital team for the Lamp and Owl at Birkbeck University. The lamp and owl (magazine) is the college magazine run by students. The magazine will be launched on line. My role will be to help the on-line editorial team. IT Microsoft word, PowerPoint. Adobe InDesign, Health and Safety level 1. Languages: Hindi, Urdu and fluent understanding of Punjabi, Gujrathy, Marathi and Sindhi.

International Work
Travelled to India, (original volunteers). Rural school development project for schedule caste children in Tamil Naidu.
Travelled to Egypt met the Heads of Military on the first democratic elections. Non Resident Indian (NRI) conference in Cochin (South India). Paravasi Bharti Divas conference was attended by President of India. Organised by Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO).
