Najwa Attiga

Najwa Attiga is a seasoned senior US qualified attorney based in Abu Dhabi. She is an International Corporate Attorney whose principle areas of practice are Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Funds, Private Equity, and Dispute Resolution. Educated in America, Ms. Attiga brings multinational and multifaceted academic and business experience. She personally founded and managed multiple legal departments and teams over the past twenty years in the USA, MENA and GCC regions. In addition, she is a trusted advisor to investment teams and the C-Suite for startups and established corporations in the public and private sectors. She currently holds the position of the General Counsel of the Emirates Investment Authority, and is the Co-Founder of the Arab Women Lawyers Group Middle East, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting women in the legal profession in the Middle East.

Ms. Attiga earned her Master of Laws Degree in Corporate Law from the University of Columbia in New York City. She is a member of New York State Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Attiga holds a Master of Law Degree in international Law from the University of Jordan in Amman. She received her Bachelor of Law Degree from Kuwait University.
