Naiara is a social development strategist with over 8 years’ experience in building bridges between investors and projects in Latin America. Throughout her career, she has supported Multilateral Institutions, NGOs, Foundations, corporate social responsibility departments and social entrepreneurs in designing strategies that allow them to achieve their financial, social and communicational goals. She has managed a wide range of Gender Diversity projects where female hiring reflects in the bottom line. She worked for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for more than 3 years in Washington DC and she also was a consultant for the International Finance Corporation (IFC). In 2014 she moved to Colombia to develop her career in the field, and in December 2014, she became an entrepreneur, creating WAT Partners with her colleague Laura Escobar. WAT Partners -Women Access To Partners- is a Colombian strategic relationship company. One of the main lines of work is the development of events with impact: curatorship of the academic agenda, the conceptualization of the event and the management of speakers and strategic allies that ensure an event of great impact. WAT Partners was the co-organizer of the first edition of the Women Economic Forum LatinAmerican in 2019. Naiara has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, an MBA in International Business and Multilateral Projects Management and she has done postgraduate studies in the IESE Business School – University of Navarra, Madrid – Spain (Strategic Management and Social Leadership Program – PGELS) and in the Georgetown University, Washington D.C. – USA (Project Management Certificate). In the first 5 years of the life of WAT Partners, Naiara had two children (2018 and 2019) being able to balance entrepreneurship and family.
To be an entrepreneur and a mother has made her grow and mature as a person and professionally facing challenges in a better way.
