N. Srikanth

Srikanth has been a recipient of the Junior Fellowship of the Dept of Culture, Ministry of HRD, Govt of India and is an empanelled artist of ICCR. Aswathy was awarded the Senior Scholarship of the Dept of Culture. Both are A- Grade artists of DOORDARSHAN, the national television channel of India. Together they have directed and performed in KAVADI CHINDU – a DVD produced by Swati Soft Solutions which is a global best seller. Bhedas and Hastas of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam Adavus are their other productions which have been equally successful.
Srikanth and Aswathy are adept at Nattuvangam and are now engaged in passing on their legacy through students at Nrityalaya School for Classical Dances, functioning in Kozhikode, Kerala. They also have a strong student base in the USA where they conduct workshops and summer residency programmes annually. They have choreographed and presented a number of dance productions in the USA using local talents.
