Educated from covent school in Dhanbad, Jharkhand; Intermediate from The Mother’s International school Delhi; and Graduated in Home science from Nirmala Niketan Mumbai.
Started my venture Sanskruti in the year 2000 at Convent junction Ernakulam. Sanskruti was created as a B2C boutique and fashion studio with a belief in creating style with practical and comfortable wear.
With less than 200 sq ft space in the year 2000 and buying a second hand sewing machine from a friend, Sanskruti has come a long way expanding into a 1500sq.ft boutique with custom made tailoring studio & also a B2B unit which supplies exclusive designs to other retail showrooms in Kerala.
One of the intital committee member women’s wing Kerala Chamber’s of commerce Ernakulam. Now a member of WEN, a vibrant entarpeanur networking group in Ernakulam.Also a member of foundation which rescues animals and are taken care of.
I believe my limited success has been due to ability to integrate the culture of East (my birth place Dhanbad), West(A Gujarati by heart and Mumbai education) and South (my home now).
Despite competitive pressure and Ups and Downs of market, Sanskruti has been able to sustain the highly competitve and fragmented market for 2 decades. I attribute this to my clients who inspire me to create something new and to my loyal team who has been with me for more than a decade.
