Chaitali Das – India

Ms. Chaitali Das, Managing Trustee of Rakshak Foundation, Kolkata and Charter President of Rotary Club of Calcutta MILLENNIUM is an eminent social worker and entrepreneur who has made it her mission to bring about a positive change in the society. As the Managing Trustee of Rakshak Foundation Kolkata, she has earned accolades for her endeavours in upliftment of Women, Literacy for all, care for the elderly, diseased and the disabled.
She is also the recipient of the Udaan Empowering Women Awards, 2016 for her significant contribution in Skill Development for the underprivileged, especially women. Her efforts and initiatives for skill development of jail inmates at various correctional homes across the city have been highly appreciated.
She has been a part of various global fora, like the ‘Women Economic Forum’ “Istanbul Summit 2016”, ‘Jaagruti’ organized by ICC, UN’s International Seminar on Clean Water and Sanitation, UGC sponsored, National Seminar on Human Trafficking in India at the South Calcutta Law College among others.
Apart from her huge social work engagements, Ms. Das is the Director of Rakshak Subhidha Pvt Ltd. She has been a member of the Standing Committee at Merchant Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Chairperson, Standing Committee, Skill Development & Empowerment, MLF, MCC, Board Member at Indo Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata, Committee Member at Bengal Chamber of Commerce, Member at Indian Chamber of Commerce, Member at FICCI FLO, Member at Lions International Club, Member at Calcutta Ladies Golf Club.
She is a State Bureau Chief of Great Asia Magazine. Qualified in law, she has worked in various capacities in corporate giants like Larsen & Toubro. Certified in Human Resource Management from University of Cambridge, UK, she wears many hats with panache.
