Monisha is a front runner in the vocational education and skilling space. With a key focus on livelihoods, particularly for women and education, she drives CSR and sustainability solutions at LabourNet Services, a leading social enterprise engaged in enabling livelihood of individuals in the informal sector. Her primary role is to co-design meaningful interventions in livelihoods and education for Corporations that bring deeper and sustainable impact.
Monisha holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and is an alumna of the Haas Business School, University of California, Berkeley. She has over 18 years of experience with varied exposure in IT software training, IT recruitment, corporate training, Academic Operations Management, Content, Product Management, Sales and Marketing.
Prior to LabourNet, she was with The Princeton Review, a leading player in the overseas education test preparation and advisory services space for 12 years, where she has helped to shape a startup to become a market leader. During her stint with The Princeton Review, she set up an ’employability skills’ vertical to cater to engineering graduates in the country. Earlier, she was also appointed by Educational Testing Services to conduct ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops across Indiafor the TOEFL test.
In her current role at LabourNet, Monisha heads the Sales, Consulting, Account Management, Marketing and Content portfolios at LabourNet, a leader in the skills and livelihoods space.
She is also a member of the Advisory Council of the ‘Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR)’ and has co-authored a book on Employability Skills on behalf of CEGR.
