from Medellin. He created a foundation with a group of women and for two and a half years he championed events female empowerment in cities such as Pereira, Barranquilla, Ibagué, Bucaramanga
and Villavicencio. She resigned from the Foundation and decided to start again creating the CORPORATION EMPODERARTE, through which its corporate purpose is to create participatory scenarios
for women and girls in order to improve their quality of life and generate impact of social transformational Currently promoting EMPODERARTE MUJER a conversation scenario that allows
identify current problems and make women and girls visible as an inspiration model, Monica, has been invited to talk about sorority, empowerment, gender equality between other issues, to national media such as: Caracol Radio Nacional, RCN television in the “Breakfast” program , have published their initiative in the newspaper La República, El nuevo Century, Meta newspaper, and local media.
