She is serving as a chairperson at Incon, d.o.o. investment and management consulting group, providing strategic and financial advice to investors in their expansion into CEE Europe. She has more than 28 years of experience in corporate finance, investment fund management, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, corporate governance and valuations. In her corporate career she was a Management Board Member and a CFO of Gorenje Group, served as a Vice president at Triglav Fund Management company, where investment fund under her management increased value by a factor of 300 % in only 5 years’ time. She served as a member of more than 20 different supervisory boards, recently she was as a president of supervisory board of UNICEF foundation Slovenia as part of her pro bono engagements, speaker at many global think tank conferences and influence groups. She is an angel investor and mentor to several startup companies and individuals. She is also a member of High-level advisory board of European Union’s ESIL (Empowering Early stage investors Launchpad) program.
Mirjana did her bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance at the Faculty of economics in Maribor, graduated cum laude for her MBA at IEDC Bled School of Management, as well as successfully completed Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
