Mickey Farrance

Working Women’s Network of Grenoble (WWNG)

France

Mickey Farrance is the President and founder of the Working Women’s Network of Grenoble, France, an association of English-speaking professional women living and working in the Grenoble area. Its purpose is to help its members build and nurture business and personal connections that help us in our work and careers.

Mickey began the WWNG after moving to France from California in 2000, after discovering that there were no networks like the ones she was involved with in the US. Based on concepts formalized by Ali Lassen of Leads Club International (for women business owners and managers to build their own professional networks), today the WWNG includes about 85 women from 20 countries.

Mickey also teaches professional networking skills and has used those skills to leverage a multi-track career. She has 30 years’ corporate communications and marcom experience in the dual tracks of engineering and communications in the software, biotechnology, telecommunications, and aerospace sectors. She is currently responsible for social media, PR, and internal communications at Bonitasoft, teaches corporate communications courses at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business and the European Institute of Purchasing Management (among others) and has consulted to global companies to help improve their internal and external communications.
