Maya Pradeep is the Founder of Haute Couture, and a Designated Partner in Beyond Z Consulting LLP.
She is the Chairperson for Karnataka State Women Entrepreneur’s Development Council and Karnataka State President – WICCI Textile Council. She is also the State Executive Member with BJP Karnataka Professional Cell.
Maya has been working with the International Textile and Fashion Retail Industry for the last Two & half decades serving as Buyer during her working days and in 2008 she started Haute Couture -a design house which collaborates with Major Global Textile & Fashion Brands in the world. She aggressively promoted India on the global platform as a major sourcing & manufacturing hub and even helped International client’s establish brand retail stores in India. She has been instrumental in promoting Indian fabrics, weaves and workmanship of artisans to global players in the Textile and Fashion Industry and is now working towards promoting sustainable clothing.
She started her career as fashion model but was keen to understand and explore the export and import business and thus joined the Textile Industry at a young age and soon started collaborating with multinational and Global Textile Giants . She is also a winner of Crown `Mrs Heritage World ‘Beauty Pageant. Recently she was awarded the most enterprising women Entrepreneur of year 2021.
Maya has been very passionate about empowering woman and always took initiatives to empower women in the factories she collaborated with during her working days. Later she started Bee Chic, a skill centre where women were skill trained to be financially independent by providing them various tailoring skills.
She also addresses various platform to talk on women empowerment. She also believes in Women Participation in the governance of the Country and actively participates in Political work and social work.
She has received many awards for her contribution and service to the society.
