  • Mary Murungi is a lawyer with over seven years of continuous experience as a conflict prevention and conflict management specialist , Advocacy, women empowerment, Governance and Human Rights Adviser, Child Protection (Ex-combatants), researcher, practitioner and policy development. Currently serving as a Programme Manager for the World Bank’s Amnesty Commission. A civil military officer from Alione Bloundine Beye School in Bamako Mali. A Conflict Prevention Officer from Kofi Annan International Peace-keeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) Ghana. Accra
  • Serve as (United Nations) National Committee Member of Uganda Genocide and Mass Atrocities Prevention. At the same time been appointed as their Communications Representative.
  • Serve as a National Team Member of the United Nations Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Weapons Inter-Regional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI)
  • Working in partnership with World Bank and USAID funded projects to effect Demobilisation Disarmament and Reintegration (DDR) mandate.
  • Provide advice on gender perspectives .
