Dr. Mary Ann Esmieu holds has a Ph.D. in Health Psychology/Clinical Psychology, a Master’s in Education, a B.A. in Criminal Justice/Social Work, and holds credentials/certifications in Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Human Resources Management. Dr. Mary Ann has twenty years of experience in Executive Management, Psychology, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, and Nonprofit Management and Consulting. As an executive, Dr. Mary Ann has directed the service continuum of numerous organizations, designed and directed multiple “landmark” mental health programs, trained, supervised and mentored professional and paraprofessional staff, successfully wrote and secured state and federal grants, managed multi-million-dollar projects, monitored the compliance of state and federal contracts, and served as the sole Clinical Director of 40 facilities.
Upon retiring from the private sector, Dr. Mary Ann has dedicated her life to using her education, executive experience, and her unique, intuitive healing modalities to help others find, reignite and set aflame their divine spark in life. In addition to her work in the healing arts, Dr. Mary Ann is currently in the process of opening The Healing Tree International, a system of therapeutic behavioral health clinics geared towards decreasing the “public school to prison pipeline” for severely emotionally disturbed youth who reside in America’s marginalized communities.
