Marjolein Sluijters

Marjolein has worked in the safety and care area and helped children as child psychologist. The recent years she has been working at municipalities as policymaker for the social environment. She is also a trustee for several NGO’s in the setting of non-formal education, gender equalty and empowerment of women.
Marjolein has a long lasting experience in thinking and acting on a strategic level in the Dutch Scout and guide organization and WAGGGS. She demonstrated a strong commitment, and hence being a key person, to strengthen the development of girls and young women as part of their program. Marjolein is amazingly aware of her environment and perceptive. She is able to deal with internal and external matters, often the less visible and subtle, and from that perspective guiding the future and realizing opportunities for the organization. She can easily switch between strategic and tactic level.
She is very keen to develop the people and the organisation in a parallel track. She does this by recruiting talents, identifying their needs as well as the needs of the organizations in order to ensure that all benefit.
