Born near Varese (Italy) June 1946 and grown up in Tripoli, resident in Rome a mixture of cultures and characters.Graduated in Economics & Business Studies at the City of London Polytechnic, London. Starts her career in IMI Group and in 1977 actively contributes to set up Banca Agrileasing and plays a key role in its growth. Agrileasing is today Iccrea BancaImpresa, the Corporate Bank of ICCREA Group, the Italian Cooperative Banks. Always in charge of strategic marketing, new business strategic areas, responsible of managing domestic and European subsidies, start-up of new products, corporate communication.Pioneer of innovation and strong contributors of new ideas.
From 1997 to 2010 top manager of the Bank in charge of Innovation and Development Dept. with responsibilities of: new BSA, Strategic Marketing, International Relations, Planning and Program Management, Organization, HR Development, Corporate Communication.
In 2008 ML sets up the first office abroad of Italian Cooperative Credit, selecting Tunisia as the “Hub” for development in the Mediterranean Region, for PME’s, customers on the Cooperative Credit System. Chief of M.E.N.A. and Director of Tunis Representative Office until April 2013.
In May 2013 sets up LMConsulting, advisoring active in North African Region mainly in Tunisia, Libya and other Maghreb Countries. Operates through a highly qualified network and belongs to a strategical International Network – IC&Partners, Head Office in Udine (Italy). LMC operates through a qualified network and cooperates with a relevant international network of professionals. Mission : support set up of companies, Italian and any other country, selection of partners, equity, also outbound from North Africa to European Countries. Always strongly committed to Women proactivity as an essential tool to improve social and economic environment. Founder of IDEE, the first Italian Women Association in banking sector and still in progress and in the Board. In autumn 2016 started a very positive cooperation in Tunisia with CIFE –Conseil International de Femmes d’Entreprise and has become President for Italy from the Tunisian location. Main mission to set up B2B between Tunisian small and medium entreprises – including start ups- and Italian entreprises in to promote business prosperity and consequent growth in employment.
