Marieke Fijnvandraat works as an independent strategic advisor. She is currently assigned to Triple-9 as interim chief strategist. Marieke has over 15 years of experience in telecom strategy with a varying focus and far-reaching practical experience. She started her career as management consultant in Telecom at Dialogic and Capgemini. Parallel to this, she finished her PhD at the TU Delft in 2009 on the topic of Strategic decision making in network roll out by private operators. After this, she had several strategic and managerial positions at at large Telcos. From 2015-2020, she worked at PwC as director Smart City & Digital Infrastructure at PwC. In her work, she focuses on business & innovation strategy and Smart City development, defining new business models in ecosystems, helping public and private partners to realize digital innovations, from strategy to successful execution. She is specialized in the development of smart, sustainable cities and the impact of digital infrastructure on various sectors.
