Maribel Ravelo

Maribel Ravelo is the co-founder and Finance Director of DMR Property Services. She went from employee to entrepreneur co-founding the company together with her husband when she was pregnant with her first child, and she never went back to work after that as she now had a priority in her life and that was being present in her child’s life.
Financial Education has been such a key element in her personal life making it possible to use her knowledge when it comes to making daily decisions with regards to investments and how to take the company from strength to strength.
She’s passionate about teaching people the value of financial education, something she began to learn as soon as she got married and she wished someone would have taught her the importance of learning the skill of managing money when she was younger.
Moving to London from Colombia when she was just a teenager was a big change at that moment, but she can now look back and be so thankful to the UK for all the opportunities given and the amazing gift of being able to connect with people from around the world.
Maribel has also served voluntarily as a youth mentor for about twenty years helping hundreds of young people to discover their purpose and teaching them to make right decisions in order to move forward in life. Being able to help others has been crucial in her life as she finds true fulfillment when she sees others living their best lives.
