Marcos has been specializing in opening luxury hotels, particularly in developing regions for international brands like Fairmont, Rocco Forte and Kempinski. One of his favorite experiences was the launch of Slovenia’s first 5 Star Hotel in Portoroz. His expertise is in Sales which includes B2B Marketing and Distribution. Due to the nature of his projects, business development was always the focus, exposing him to all nationalities, cultures, religions and of course, gender. Fortunately Marcos has been raised in an international environment, as son of a diplomat he had lived in 5 countries on 3 continents before his 18th birthday. If there is one lesson he learned, collaboration with diverse perspectives is the secret to success.
For the past 5 years Marcos has the task to sell The Trump Hotel portfolio in EMEIA, responding to the growing demand for their hotels in Europe and the USA. The quickly changing environment of the past years economically and politically has made it more interesting and even more important to cater and unite all coutures and genders.
