Manu is a generalist with Atlas Family of Investment Partnerships, a sector agnostic family office. There, he primarily focuses on their new issue strategy for biotech/healthcare/pharma, financials/fintech and pure tech equity investments. Prior to Atlas, Manu spent over three years with S&P Capital IQ, a unit of S&P Global. In that role, he worked with a team that provides proprietary market benchmarks to Top 50 banks across the US in order to help improve their risk adjusted returns for their commercial loan portfolios. He began his career in finance with Morgan Stanley where he spent five years in a variety of roles that spanned Institutional Securities Marketing as well as Investment Banking and the MSREF Funds businesses in a technology/knowledge management capacity.
In addition to his role at Atlas, Manu is the current president of the board of the RCCA, the vice president of the board of the BPOA, and on the NJ Young Leaders Board of America Needs You.
Manu earned his MS in Finance and Certificate in MIS from Simon Business School, as well as his BA in Economics, from the University of Rochester. He’s published two research abstracts, one related to fungal growth and auto-inhibitors presented at ASM (American Society of Microbiology), and the other related to presbycusis, or age-related hearing loss, for ARO (Association for Research in Otolaryngology).
Manu is passionate about mentorship, especially as a mentor coach for the first generation college students through the American Needs You program. When he’s not working or mentoring, Manu is a frequent runner and photographer of sunrises.
