Rank holder in Psychology, Gold Medalist in Social work and MBA from Leicester’s. Have 3 kids. Worked with various Banks and Corporates for over 15 years in the Middle East including HSBC, Citibank and Doha Bank in various roles as Sales Manager, Business Development Manager and Multi Nationals Corporate Banking Manager. Have started a chain of restaurants in Kochi called The Burger Junction in 2014 along with my brother. The Burger Junction restaurant has been recently named as the Best Burger Joint in all of India (No:1 position) amongst the top 25 burger joints and in the 33rd position worldwide amongst the top 50 burger joints.
Social work has always been a passion for me. When I returned from Middle East, I wanted to contribute in some way back to the society. Hence started a voluntary organisation called Tree for Life. It is now a registered NGO with over 40plus members – women from various walks of life – including teachers, doctors, home makers, architects, businesswomen. We take classes for school children about the need for protecting trees and environment. We have also planted over 500 saplings in various school compounds, church, temple compounds, community centres. We encourage people to be more nurturing and caring towards the environment and provide a better future for the next generations.
