Luna Shamsuddoha

Luna Shamsuddoha, Chairman, Dohatec New Media (1992), is a software entrepreneur, she is also Managing Director of Global Voice Ltd, an IGW.
Her company has developed several e-Governance projects including e-GP portal and public procurement MIS. It developed the solution for Social Safety Net. It provided the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System for Royal Government of Bhutan. She provided multi-biometric Voter Registration Solution for Bangladesh Army 2007 and 2008. Microsoft WPC 2007 recognized her. Dohatec is a Certifying Authority issuing Digital Certificates and offers PKI Tools and enablement solutions. Luna is the founder President of Bangladesh Women in Technology, (BWIT), a Forum to empower women through Technology and encourage women and girls in ICT entrepreneurship and to study and pursue careers in technology. She serves on several Boards – Chairman Janata Bank Ltd, Independent University Bangladesh (IUB); Trustee Under Privilege Children’s Educational Program (UCEP – an NGO) Former Director SME Foundation; Bangladesh Challenge Fund. A member of Digital Security Act 2016 Drafting Committee, ICT Policy Review Committee. She received several national and international recognitions and awards. Among them “Leadership Award 2013” of Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network Award in Sweden. She was adjudged ‘Outstanding Woman in Business’ by DHL Daily Star Business Award in 2017.
