Innovator, pioneer, architect, promoter, consultant, moderator, writer, editor – mother of two – exploring a full, fun, healthy life. A believer in perpetual learning and walking the talk of her passion and purpose. Passionate about unraveling the potential of Renewable Prosperity in the Mediterranean Region – contributing to a society where everyone has access to what they need and prosperity is powered by renewable resources. Spear headed sustainable construction as architect and real estate promoter in Portugal and Europe (25 years), formed and directed the Lisbon Energy and Environment Agency (5 years), acted as elected councilor for the opposition in Lisbon Municipality (2,5 years), has facilitated over 150 workshops, lectures and conferences focused on urban resilience (10 years), created and facilitated the Sustainable Construction Living Lab (5 years), author of the book (10K copies sold, 3 editions over 5 years) and editor of the periodical on Sustainable Construction (3 years), developed and collaborated in various other publications. Volunteered for Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa to create the social innovation Hub MITRA (3 years), facilitating the working group of the Critical Friends of MITRA. Volunteered for several European Commission working groups on sustainability and design thinking (8 years). Fellow at THNK, the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership (participant 2013) and helped create THNK’s Lisbon Home and is the curator for THNK Lisbon.Livia is also the curator of the REBUNDANCE initiative, aiming to hold the space for organizations to design their beautiful futures.
