Le Thao (Koyama Thao) is a Vietnamese entrepreneur, a mother of a Japanese daughter, and founder of Eldoraku, a platform operated on mobile devices that introduces a wide range of products focusing on Japanese cosmetics and gifts.
In 2007, she received Japanese Government Scholarship and came to Tokyo for her master degree in Int’l Environmental Agricultural Management. In 2010, she started working for Asahi Breweries, Asahi Group Holdings.
In 2015, after coming back from maternity leave, Thao realized that it is super challenging for women with child like her to become succeed in a big Japanese company and be able to contribute to the society in general.
In 2018, she left Asahi to follow her passion for cosmetics and beauty care, and established Eldoraku.
With her previous experience as MC and singer, Thao is currently partnering with WEI (Women Empowered Institute) in association with ALL (All Ladies Leagues) and WEF (Women Economic Forum) to run the quarterly event “Beauty Boosting and Empowerment” to promote “Beauty With Brain” in Tokyo. She is also hosting an online program to provide Japanese information in her native language, helping Vietnamese across the globe understand and appreciate the beauty of her second hometown, Japan.
