ALL Ladies League’s Delhi Chapter organized a seminar on “Strategic Supremacy??? with Prof. Richard D’Aveni at Vivanta by Taj-Ambassador in New Delhi on 21st November 2014.
Widely known as the ‘Godfather of Strategy’, Prof. Richard D’Aveni is named among top 20 management gurus and top 5 strategic thinkers in the world. Famous for his unique approach and strategical mantras, Prof. D’Aveni was visiting India to discuss highlights of his book “Strategic Supremacy: How You Can Create Growth, Wealth, and Power through Spheres of Influence???.
Tuck School of Business’s Professor talked about innovative management strategies, much-needed women participation along with many other unique perspectives that can lead India to a double digit growth much sooner.
Prof. Richard D’Aveni added “India has the second largest workforce which enables it to be a global superpower but unfortunately it has the lowest female participation rate, with only 29% of women working???. Prof. D’Aveni in his talk emphasized on the need to boost women participation and stressed on the requirement to encourage more start up entrepreneurs in India.
Dr. Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson, ALL Ladies League and a known philanthropist, leader & spiritualist, shared her views on the much-needed women entrepreneurship in the country. In her welcome note, Dr. Arora added “We require a strategic shift in our thinking process, and a new entrepreneurial mindset to chart out our own path of growth and influence. India is bestowed with immense talents and opportunities. Only a little encouragement along with a right platform can showcase its talents to foster its growth to a newer height???.
