Kriti Sharma is a legal, strategy & investment consultant from Mumbai, India. She is MSc. in Law & Finance from University of Oxford, UK (Batch of 2015). She pursued her dual degree in Private Equity Finance and Competition Law at Said Business School (Oxford). Currently consulting MNCs’ and Indian Conglomerates. Using her international dual degree in law and finance, she is currently independently advising Indian and International start-ups on legal and funding matters. Having a decade of experience of working with Law Firms like Baker & McKenzie (London) and returning to her home country in 2016 and starting her own consultancy firm “LawCapita” in Mumbai, she currently supports Start-up advisory and has advised Retail, Tech sector and healthcare multinationals like Huntsman International, SRS Lifesciences, Brambles Ltd, Smith & Nephew, Quosphere Pvt. Ltd., Yellow Plate, Nupur Entertainment LLP, Stevia World etc. Given her experience in M&A, she has advised corporates on business acceleration along with legal advisory. She acted as the Networking Head for the Real Estate Oxford Business Network vertical.

Kriti overall supports investors in Private equity, Tactical opportunities, Strategic partnerships, Real estate, Infrastructure, Innovations, Life sciences and Registered funds. Her investments are designed to preserve and grow limited partners’ capital with other institutional / individual investors and contribute to their overall economic growth. Kriti has been working on commercial and legal strategy matters since a decade now. After graduating from National Law Institute University (NLIU) with first-class honors’ in 2008.

Kriti’s experience comprise of advising on diverse sectors like Healthcare, Finance, Real Estate/hospitality, IT and Media / Technology. Prior to her stint in UK, she worked as an attorney with law firms like Khaitan & Co, Mumbai, P.E Fund India Blue Mountain and Indian Conglomerate Sahara India. Her key practice areas comprise of business acceleration support, commercial transactions and fin-tech advisory. She’s been advising legal matters arounds funds structuring, vendor contracts, agency – distribution agreements, JVs and Tie-ups / affiliate agreements, lease deeds, leave and license agreements etc.

Before U.K, Kriti has advised and closed deals like the acquisition of Plaza and Dream downtown (US) for Sahara India, which had a transaction size of $800 mn. (about Rs 4,400 crore) with the total project cost of $100 mn. (Rs 714 crore). She has supported multinationals like Huntsman International on their Company spin-off matter along with advising on vendor contracts specifically relating to Agency – Distribution, JVs and Tie-ups / affiliate agreements, lease deeds, leave and license agreements etc. While at Baker & McKenzie, she also worked and advised on an asset sale transaction between Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Communications (RCOM) and Russian conglomerate Sistema Shyam (SSTTL). Kriti returned to India in Jan’16, post working as a P.E Associate with Baker & McKenzie, London and with US MNC called Huntsman International for their Mumbai HQ to support their South Asia operations in Textile Effects division.
