Kriti Sharma is a Mumbai based Commercial lawyer with 8 years of PQE in handling M&A and Private Equity transactions. She holds a recently awarded Masters’ in Law & Finance from University of Oxford, UK where her subjects were Private Equity Finance and Competition Law.
Her experience also comprises of advising on diverse sectors like Finance, Real Estate/hospitality and Media / Technology. Having returned to India this year after working as a private equity lawyer with Baker & McKenzie, London and completing a 6-month international contract as a the Asia Pacific Legal Commercial Council with a US MNC called Huntsman International, she is currently advising start-ups on legal and funding matters, her recent project being Genuinely Ethnic, an Indo-Ethnic online e-commerce venture, which is to be launched soon, where she is working on building a high-end Indian Artefacts and Handicrafts based trading business.
Prior to her stint in UK, Kriti has also worked as an attorney with law firms like Khaitan & Co and Desai & Diwanji, Mumbai. She has authored student books for LexisNexis and written many articles on contemporary happenings and Indian law.
Kriti is a Basketball player and enjoys music, adventure sports and travelling.
