Krithika Ram leads the India programs for WEConnect International, an international organisation helping women-owned businesses succeed in global value chains. She brings 11 years of rich professional experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining WEConnect, she led the NGO Credibility and Engagement Team at Charities Aid Foundation India, where she was involved in conducting due-diligence of non-profits prior to grant-making and partner selection for CSR funding. In her previous roles she has been responsible for strategizing, strengthening and executing the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in companies such as Ramky Group, L&T Infotech and Icreon Tech. Krithika has also served in M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation and Agastya International Foundation. Her specializations include Corporate Social Responsibility, Non-Profit Organization Management, Gender Issues, Education, Youth Development, and Volunteerism. Krithika completed her Masters in International Studies from Stella Maris College, Chennai, India and is a silver medallist. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma Degree in Sustainable Rural Development from the University of Hyderabad and a Certificate in CSR. About her organisation WEConnect International-India- WEConnect International in India educates corporates on importance of buying more from women businesses and builds capacities of women businesses and provides networking opportunities to help them become suppliers to large corporations in India. WEConnect in India is more than 3 years old as a registered non-profit and has a network of 700+ women businesses, 80 outreach partners and 15 large corporations.
