Komal Gupta is an award-winning Indian poetess and writer. She writes under the pen name of tejaswiniaura. She is an avid reader with a penchant for the extraordinary and mundane aspects of life. A keen observer of life, words to her are an extension of perceptions. Komal continues to push the boundaries of what defines poetry, writing with her unique style of narration and reflections. She believes in the power of words, arts and culture to change lives and impact society in positive ways.
She is the State President of the Haryana Arts Leadership council formed under the aegis of the WICCI Arts Leadership Council. She is the State Chair- Haryana under the aegis of All India Chapter For: G100 Oneness and Wisdom. Awarded the Indian Women Achievers Award 2021 in Literature by Asian Literary Society at the 3rd ALS LIT FEST 2021. Certificate of Excellence awarded to the ‘Verses of Time’ for the Best Poetry Book in English at the 3rd ALS LIT FEST 2021 by the Asian Literary Society.
She is a published author of two poetry books, Verses of Time (2019) and Of Silhouette Words and Moonflowers (2017). Komal is one of the selected women writers in Literoma’s Biography of the Millennium project ‘The Shining Divas of 2020’ showcasing the lives and writing journeys of seven inspiring Indian women writers.
Komal is a featured poetess on Fuzia, Bymepoetry, The Uncommon Box, Commaful, Realistic Poetry International, Story Mirror, YourQuote, Kalaage and InkInnovators. She is a volunteer for TEDxGurugram as a content curator and speaker curator and is committed to the spread of ideas for learning in the community.
She also volunteers for non-profit organizations as a content writer, especially in the mental health industry.
Her Slide Show “The Power of Words” was showcased in Cubbon Park Metro Station under the Wait Time Project by Art in Transit Bangalore in April 2019, an experiment on public interaction with art and literature, and was very well received.
Her Digital art was exhibited at the International Roerich Memorial Trust, Manali in 2019. Her poetry was showcased in TEDxWomen Bold and Brilliant 2019 December. A versatile personality on a mission to make arts and culture the forefront of learning and personality development in an age where the rules have changed, be it work life balance, spiritual growth or career development.
