Kavya Tadakaluri

Kavya Tadakaluri, a 21 year old Computer Science Engineering student from Loyola-ICAM College Of Engineering and Technology (and almost graduate) is quite the jack of all trades. Starting with being involved in singing and theatre to being the co-founder of a start-up, this lady is just beginning. With a thirst to keep learning, she joined AIESEC – a global not for profit student run leadership development organisation, she took up various roles from partnership management to event management to being selected as the Vice President for the Finance and Legal portfolio and regards AIESEC as her true Alma Mater. Having co-founded Inner Goddess Academy – a leadership development platform specially designed for women, in 2016 and staying there for a year before pursuing higher positions at AIESEC, she has gained experience in various profiles. She was also appointed as the City Head for a student run media house, The PULP, and set up the organisation in Chennai from scratch. Last but not the least, she worked under Mrs. Rinku Mecheri, founder of Chennai Volunteers, towards the creation of a new Social Responsibility Portfolio for YPO South Asia region.
Currently traveling and exploring India after a brief experience working with AIESEC Nepal on an event for 6 weeks, she is looking forward to returning to Chennai to work on her passion – spreading awareness and fighting for gender equality (across all genders) as well as working with her father’s self established business in Interior Design, with a vision to scale it up before then moving on full-fledged onto her own career in the social sector.
