Co-Founder, Women’s Business School
Award winning entrepreneur and author Katy Garner is the co-founder of The Women’s Business School, which supports, educates and inspires women to create businesses that work around their family life.
With a background in events and community engagement, she’s passionate about being a voice for women and has been active in advocating for more recognition of the work of Australian women business with State and Federal politicians, to encourage more funding and support for women in business. Katy was on the board of the Queensland Small Business Advisory Council.
For the past 10 years Katy has organised the AusMumpreneur Awards, a national awards program that celebrates mothers in business and recognises the amazing achievements and economic contributions that mumpreneurs make to the Australian economy.
As a mother of 3 children who runs a successful business she knows how tough it can be and why it’s so important to find the support of others facing the same challenges and also to take time to stop and celebrate the wins along the way.
