Katerina Dimitratos is a risk and analysis expert that has been employed in the financial industry for the last twelve years. She has worked for some of the top companies in the financial sector, including Bloomberg, S&P Global, and most recently, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Katerina holds an MBA in Finance and Bachelor’s of Science in International Relations from Seton Hall University. She is also a graduate of The Fund for American Studies and Georgetown University’s International Institute for Political and Economic Studies in Crete, Greece.
Katerina devotes time to charity work, particularly with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in the United States and various political causes and organizations like the Hellenic American Leadership Council. In addition, Katerina is a member of the Foreign Policy Association, America’s oldest global affairs organization whose goal is to inspire the American public to learn more about the world. She is an advocate for education and literacy for not only those in the United States, but all people in the world. Katerina believes, regardless of where an individual lives, who they are or what situation they find themselves in, all are entitled to an equal education as literacy is an important tool which changes circumstances and breaks down barriers. For this reason, Katerina founded the Sofia Symposium in 2018, to allow individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds the opportunity to engage through an idea exchange platform in order to break down barriers and level the playing field.
