Kaadambari is the Managing Partner at UCOL, a multi-jurisdictional law firm with a Pan India
presence, covering all aspects of litigation with extensive exposure to real estate corporate practice. She has extensively worked in the real estate sphere concerning projects ranging between Rs. 250 Crores to 50,000 Crores in India. She has been involved in documentation, right from project implementation to delivery of equipment, installation, inspections, construction schedule and commissioning, operation and Maintenance Agreements, Joint Ventures, Acquisitions, Technology Transfers, Confidentiality Agreements, Regulatory Services, Leasing & Licensing Agreements, Builders’ Agreements, Land Purchase Agreements and the like. She has been regularly advising foreigners, NRIs, PIOs with regard to FDI laws concerning India, laws pertaining to foreigners purchasing property in India, legal formalities concerning foreigners seeking employment in India, looking into various legal aspects and structuring of the entire transactions from signing of the MOU to facilitating in-flow of Foreign Investment till completion stage. Kaadambari has also been involved in International Arbitration and has represented various State Governments and Public Sector Undertakings before the Supreme Court of India. She has successfully undertaken interesting and innovative drafting assignments including compiling the Constitution for the Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique (HCCD), India and similar assignments. Frequently retained by Corporates, she assesses their legal risk costs and budgets, as well as advise them on how to reduce their legal costs. As Founder & Managing Director of “Law And Women (LAW)” – an initiative with an objective to facilitate the process of women empowerment, she has been working to increase consciousness about the legal rights, incentives, emerging legal trends and various policies that are being framed by the Government of India for women from time to time.
