Jennifer Graham is a Senior Trade Policy Officer with Global Affairs Canada. She has worked on a range of international trade negotiations, including the Trans Pacific Partnership, and a wide array of trade policy issues. In 2009 —2012, Jennifer served in China as a diplomat (First Secretary, Trade Policy) at Canada’s Embassy in Beijing. Prior to that, Jennifer worked in the private sector at a prominent Canadian executive recruitment and governance consulting firm, as well as in the United Kingdom and Italy where she held progressively senior positions in the tourism industry. Jennifer currently serves as a Member of the Advisory Council and is Chair of the Internal Committee regarding sexual harassment in the workplace for Smart-E, an
electric vehicle public transportation system that seeks to improve last mile connectivity in Delhi and its surrounds in an eco-friendly manner. In 2015—2017
Jennifer was Chair of the Board of the Canassist Society, a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting women and children concurrently served as President of the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association from 2016—2017. In Canada, Jennifer has been involved in a number of social organizations, including the United Way, and is a founder of Suits his Style, a registered Canadian charity.
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toronto, a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Carleton University, Ottawa), and diplomas from the United Nations University. She is fluent in French, and Italian, and speaks basic Mandarin and some Hindi. Jennifer is an avid runner and triathlete. She is trained in boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Jennifer has summited Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp. Jennifer is also a certified Yoga instructor and currently teaches hatha, flow and prenatal yoga. Jennifer moved to India in December 2014 and currently lives in New Delhi with her husband and two children, a daughter (4) and a son (9 months).
