Janet Ward

Janet Ward is a transformative parent coach, writer, teacher, and speaker who is passionate about uplifting families of special needs children. Through the work of The Graceful Parent, Janet helps parents of special needs children, usually mothers, to improve and enhance their inner emotional and spiritual lives. When mothers can better cope and have more hope — despite challenging, lifelong circumstances — positive effects ripple out to everyone in the family, and beyond. Janet also raises community awareness about how a special needs child affects ALL members of a family, including typically developing siblings. Janet’s hard-won expertise comes from more than 20 years of immersion into the world of special needs with her own children, including an adopted daughter with a trauma background.
