Iris has been the chairman and MD of Good Relations India, a pan- India market entry and positioning advisory, over the past decade. The company has brought major clients including Marks & Spencer,Scottish & Newcastle, Sun Life Insurance, to India and many others. Iris has been involved in entrepreneurship, technology innovation and commercialisation for over 20 years. Following her PhD in Biochemistry she co-established UltraShape, acquired by Syneron. Iris is a mentor in London Business School, in Cambridge Judge Business School and serves on the investment committee of Cambridge University. Soon after completing her Ph.D., Iris moved to technology commercialisation in international markets, specializing in medical devices. She coestablished UltraShape (high-intensity ultrasound device for body contouring), acquired by Syneron in 2012 for $12 million, and led the business development of MetaCure (a diabetic pace-maker). She introduced MetaCure to India, from 1st in human trials to opening seven pan-India centres in prominent hospitals, and then setting up commercial operations. During these years Iris spent every other week in India. In 2007 Iris founded I-Connections, an India market entry firm which brought numerous innovative technologies to the market. She established JV partnerships, launched new products and set up commercial operations for various companies such as Sight Diagnostics, a malaria detection platform based on artificial intelligence. I-Connections later merged with Good Relations India (GRI), a 30-years old pan-India consultancy helping companies set-up in India from strategy to full execution, of which she is chairman and MD. The company has handled leading clients such as Apple, Barclays, Bloomberg, Cartier, CNBC, Suzlon, The UN and Virgin Atlantic. GRI brought Marks & Spencer to India and facilitated their JV with Reliance Industries, Sun Life
Insurance with Birla Group, Scottish & Newcastle with Kingfisher and many others. In recent years Iris has served on boards in the UK, Israel and India and has been involved in AIM listing. She sits on the investment committee of Cambridge Enterprise Seed Fund, the Technology Transfer of Cambridge University and is an active mentor in London Business School and Judge Business School.
