Ikramul Majid

Mr. Ikramul Majid, a sociology bachelor degree holder and Managing Director, Nikita Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd., has diverse business interests in Assam and Northeast India.
Mr. Majid a recipient of the Udyog Rattan, is engaged in a wide range of business activities including agriculture mechanisation, manufacturing of agricultural implements, eco-tourism, bio-mass power generation, solar energy, vocational training etc.
Founder President of the Society for Economic Advancement (SEA), an NGO based in Assam, engaged in creating sustainable income generation activities in the field of agriculture, handloom and handicrafts and numerous vocational trades. Mr. Majid is also the Past President of Heart Care Society of Assam – Guwahati Chapter, Founder Secretary of AASIA (All Assam Small Scale Industries Association), Bonda Entrepreneur Association etc.
An avid stage actor of the eighties and having worked in the first Assamese TV serial, Mr. Ikramul Majid has of late produced two Assamese international award winning feature films under the banner of his production company – Alternative Cinematics.
