Harmeen Mehta is the Global Chief Information Officer and Head of Digital of Bharti Airtel Limited, and as such is responsible for Digitization and all Engineering across India, South Asia and 14 countries in Africa. She also leads the Cyber security, Cloud and Applications businesses for Bharti Airtel.
She has over 20 years of experience as Global CIO and global technology roles with companies such as BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria), Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and HSBC. She also worked as a consultant to British Airways and Qantas.
Harmeen has lived in 11 countries and worked across over 30 countries in all continents.
Harmeen is the recipient of the prestigious 2018 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award and the TMForum Global CIO of the year award. She has also been recognized by Economic Times as top 10 women in the telecom and tech industry across the globe.
Harmeen is a Board member for TM Forum and other startups in India and the Silicon Valley.
