Grace Mugabe

A qualified CPA and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Grace Mugabe left her corporate role as a Senior Site Accountant at Rio Tinto in 2015 to start Financially Empowered, a consultancy focused on helping women achieve financial empowerment. Grace provides accounting and bookkeeping services and training, as well as financial literacy workshops that attract government, schools, private industry and not-for-profit clients. As a financial literacy expert Grace often features as a guest and keynote speaker sharing her message with a diverse audience. In 2018, Grace was a recipient of the Layne Beachley Foundation ‘Aim for the Stars’ scholarship and was a finalist in the 2017 United Nations Association of Australia (WA) ‘Gender Equity Promotion’ Award. She is the ambassador of Behind the Brands, a community dedicated to female entrepreneurs in Australia. A committed advocate for community involvement, Grace has served on numerous Not for Profit boards including Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Centre and 100 Women.
