Gabriela Quezada joined the Chilean Foreign Service in 2013 and has served in Bogotá (Political Affairs) and San José, Costa Rica, as Consul. Her main areas of action are Human Rights and International Security from a Gender perspective. She is part of the board of She Is Foundation – Costa Rica.
Gabriela Quezada holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and specialized in International Security and International Relations and has a diploma in “International Relations and Diplomacy” from the Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile and the Center for International Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; and a diploma in “The Women Scholarship for Peace: Global South Initiative of the Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Education Partnership”, by the University for Peace, United Nations.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, she worked at the Strategic Planning Division and the General Division of Bilateral Affairs.
