Mozambique

I am a young graduate in International Relations and Diplomacy, by the Higher Institute of International Relations, and a member of women’s movements, namely The Grail International, Movfemme-fMozambican Feminist Movement, and the World March of Women about 12 years. And I have worked in civil society organizations in capacity building projects in Sexual and Reproductive Health, girl empowerment, violence against children, girls and women, HIV / AIDS, political participation in the city and province of Maputo; I participated in international and national conferences, linked to such areas and beyond. I took three internships, namely as an HIV / AIDS OFFICER program officer for the FDC partnership with Johns Hopkins University, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Good Governance Advocacy projects at MASC and as Assistant for Communication and Cooperation for the partnership between the Grail-The Working Group on Girls – ECOSOC-UN, at the CSW59 Conference in New York.
As temporary work, I worked as a protocol and logistics officer, project manager, trainer, Portuguese-English, English-Portuguese interpreter, moderator and event facilitator. And I am currently a finalist of a Master’s degree in International Relations and Development, specializing in Foreign Policy, which gives me profound knowledge about the area of socio-economic and political development, foreign policy, conflicts and peace and security processes at international and domestic level. At work level, I act as Program Officer for Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Men for Change Network – Rede HOPEM.
It is with great strength that I have overcome all the challenges that I propose, always with a high spirit of initiative and creativity, communication, group work, always seeking to learn to improve professionally, and as an activist for the causes of women.
