Trained in specialized education and different alternative therapies (Ethnomedicine, Nutritherapy, Individualized Healthy Cuisine, Reflexology), she has a life course rich in community experiences, solidarity and alternatives. Co-founder and animator of several movements or companies related to organic agriculture (Agrobio, ARAA-Pt), to natural health (Institute of Natural Health, Multidisciplinary Clinic of alternative health, …), to education (Center of alternative documentation, Académie des Savoirs), humanitarian aid (MAPN-Canada, Solidarity Clinics, Food Autonomy Workshops …), she administratively managed the Institute of Natural Health for more than 20 years in Quebec, while Leading educational workshops for children, young couples or seniors and various intergenerational activities of solidarity, environmental protection, sustainable development and social justice.
Francine is married to Jean-Claude Rodet, a multidisciplinary scientist with a degree in Agronomy, Ecology, Nutrition and Medicine, who has developed an important professional career specifically dedicated to Organic Farming and Natural Remedies, always aiming to promote the well-being, health and respect of all living beings, biodiversity and the conscious use of our planet’s resources.
Back in Europe, Portugal, hosted by the town hall of Idanha-a-Nova, the couple Rodet has created the “Centro Documental Raiano” to share and make available to the local, national and international community, all the information and Experiments accumulated throughout a lifetime dedicated to the harmonious development of our “common house”, the Earth, and the well-being of its inhabitants. It is therefore very natural that Francine and Jean-Claude put their shoulder to the wheel to co-create N-Light Environment and the Academy of Environmental Sciences.
