Farah Shammas is Managing Director of the St Raphael Resort and Marina in Limassol, Cyprus where she oversees the whole resort which stands in 43,000 square metres of landscaped gardens, has its own 237 berth marina, conference facilities and banquet halls and an award winning spa. A graduate in tourism marketing from the University of Surrey, Farah has developed an in-depth knowledge of tourism in Cyprus. During her career at the resort she has been involved with several multi-million-euro renovations and extension of the hotel with a 56 bedroom executive wing and now luxury residential Tower.As a board member and Managing Director, she is involved with policy making, staffing, financial, operational matters and the day-to-day running of the hotel and its promotion within the local and international markets. A wife and mother of three, Farah is also an active vegan and has a platform Cook Vegan (Facebook and YouTube) where she aims to encourage a healthier and more sustainable way of living for all.
