Erin Benford

After being a high school English teacher and a small business owner, Erin Benford started working in real estate in 2003. It was a natural, having purchased and sold several properties with her husband, beginning when they were in college.
Working for two other companies first, Erin and then team partner son, Jeffrey Benford, moved to the Willow Glen office of Sereno Group Real Estate in 2012. Erin is still very happy to be part of Sereno Group. One of the company highlights is the 1% for Good program, contributing part of our paychecks back to the local community.
After 12 years as part of the Benford Team, Jeffrey continues to work in real estate with his own property management company. Son Joel Benford works as the Benford Team field and marketing assistant.
Erin has degrees in English and Education, a Certificate in Marketing, and has extra education in residential specialties including distressed properties and property investments.
She works with buyers, sellers, and residential real estate investors in Silicon Valley, and through a North American professional organization, connections throughout the United States and Canada, sending clients beyond the county and state lines. Her experience is varied, including, but not limited to, helping people who are buying their first home, helping to decide when a property is not a good purchase, helping people moving up or sizing down, buying or selling residential investment property, selling or buying short sales or foreclosed property, selling estates, and helping seniors decide whether to rent or sell the home they no longer want or can’t live in.
With Erin’s broad marketing and negotiating experience, and a focus on customer service and education, the Benford Team is dedicated to helping clients in all aspects of their real estate needs, from condos to castles, including manufactured housing and new construction.
