Erika Anderson

Erika E. Anderson is the founder and managing partner of the Law Offices of Erika E. Anderson. She is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating for legal and ethical excellence. Anderson and has been practicing for over fifteen (15) years in the areas of estate planning, probate and litigation. Anderson has excellent client and litigation skills and has served as lead counsel and co-counsel in numerous trials in State and Federal Court. Anderson received her Master’s in Counseling from the University of New Mexico (UNM) and served as a therapist for adolescence and their families. Anderson then attended law school at UNM and graduated in the top 25 % of her class. After law school, Anderson clerked for eight (8) judges in the Fifth Judicial District for the State of New Mexico. She then clerked for the Honorable Gene Franchini and the Honorable Richard C. Bosson on the New Mexico Supreme Court. Anderson is well respected in the legal community and is the past President of the State Bar of New Mexico, the former Chair of the American Bar Association Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section Trial Techniques Committee and the Past President of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association. She also teaches several classes as an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law including Evidence and Trial Practice and Defending and Taking Depositions.
