Dr. Shikha Aggarwal is an inspiring academician in Chandigarh and leading young brains aspiring to become architects. She has more than 17 years of experience in industry as well as academics. Her focus is on skill development of youth and complete progress in all dimensions so that they can spearhead the growth and development of India. She has worked with leading architects, real estate giants and architectural institutions in the Tricity of Chandigarh. She has done her graduation ( B.Arch. ) from Guru Nanak Dev University , Amritsar in 2002 and post graduation (M.Tech. In Building Science and Technology ) from I.I.T. Roorkee in 2008. She has deep interest in Research and has completed her PhD in Low Carbon buildings from I.K.G.P.T.U. , Jalandhar.
She has contributed many research papers in the field of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in National and International journals and also has Scopus publication to her credit. She has guided many B.Arch. and M.Arch. students. She is a life member of Council of Architecture, an Associate Member of Indian Institute of Architects(IIA).
