Dr. Roopashree Narasimhaia

Roopa Narasimhaiah is the Associate Vice President of Development and Alumni Affairs at the Yale School of Medicine. Roopa leads the Development team in its comprehensive fundraising activities to fuel innovative education that inspires future leaders, advance the practice of medicine and the biomedical sciences to improve health and alleviate human suffering and, provide outstanding care and service for patients, in alignment with the School’s mission. Previously, Roopa was the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the Yale School of Medicine. In this role, she worked with the School of Medicine leadership and faculty to identify donors, establish, and steward several strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations. Roopa first came to the Yale University School of Medicine as a post-doctoral associate in the department of psychiatry in 2005. She holds a Ph.D. in developmental neurobiology from Wesleyan University.
