Dr. Meenakshi Jain

A woman of impact: A physician leader, Dr. Meenakshi Jain, MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine) is the Senior Consultant and Head Internal Medicine and Diabetes at Max Healthcare. She is also Medical Advisor to Max Hospitals and Secretary of the Association of Physicians of India (Noida chapter). From obtaining leadership position in academic medicine to ethical, empathetic and successful medical practitioner, Dr. Meenakshi Jain has given a new definition of women physician’s role in today’s society. She did her MBBS and MD from prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, and received various national and international awards and recognition. Since then she has been associated with Max Healthcare and her own venture Dr. Meenakshi’s Wellness Clinic. Concerned about rising incidence of diabetes in Urban India and particularly in young pregnant mother, she has taken initiative of research and studies in this field. She has organized various conference and public lectures to increase awareness about Gestational Diabetes and to reduce this epidemic in future generation. Keeping herself updated with latest in fields of medicine and diabetes, she is a women of knowledge and wisdom. There is no better time than now for women to rise up and lead as doctors,for they have an inbult healing touch and leadership qualities in their second X chromosome.
