Dr. Kirti Sharma holds a Ph.D in Services Marketing, Masters in Marketing Technology and Bachelors’ in Science.
She has an experience of around 19 years. Before joining academics she has worked in companies like Cipla limited, Thompson Consumer Electronics and Oracle India for 4.5 years. She has been in academics for 15 years now. She has been keenly involved in research centered on consumer behavior, marketing in emerging economies, marketing of services, healthcare marketing, social marketing and advertising management. She has done her Ph.D in ‘customer perception and satisfaction in life insurance services’.
She is a visiting professor to University of Business and Economics, WU, Vienna.
She has been nominated as a Non-official member for designing the ‘communication strategy’ by Ministry of Statistical Programme Implementation, Govt. of India.
She has been involved in consulting assignments for MSME, Government of India. She is an honorary consultant to Khadi and Village industries, Govt. of India. She has recently completed a consulting project titled ‘Evaluation study of PMEGP scheme’ for Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises, Government of India. She is working as a consultant to develop ‘coffee table books’ for various cities of Haryana for the Dept of Urban Local Bodies, Govt. of Haryana.
She has published many papers in National and International journals. She has published cases with Richard IVEY publishing. She has conducted training programmes for companies like Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Department of Science and Technology Government of India, Punjab and National Bank, Engineers India Limited, Jindal Stainless, BSES Rajdhani, Indian Forest Services, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Greenply Industries, Mother Dairy, Cannon India, KVIC and KVIB, GOI, LIC of India etc.
She has been teaching courses like: International marketing with a focus on emerging markets, Consumer Behavior and Advertising management.
She is on the reviewing board of Inderscience Journals, IIMB, EMAC and Elsevier Journals.
