Dr. Jaya Bajaj

Dr. Bajaj is a US trained family physician with strong belief in blending old-fashioned patient care with new age digital technologies that can empower patients and lead to better outcomes. She has over 20 years of experience and believes in a holistic approach to patient care with strong focus on wellness and prevention. She is a health technology enthusiast and is a strong advocate of the right use of technology for better patient care.
She holds an MD in Family Medicine from East Tennessee State University-US, Masters in Public Health (Biostatistics) from University of South Carolina-US, an Executive Management degree from IIM Bangalore-India, and an MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur-India.
Her work experience spans US and India. She served as an Associate Medical Director and Family Physician at Rural Health Group, North Carolina-US, Head of Medical Education and Training at Nationwide Primary Care Services, Bangalore-India, and Consultant Physician at Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Bangalore-India in past.
She currently practices at her own clinic “Vera Health” located in East Bangalore and focuses mostly on treating lifestyle illnesses with practical approaches towards weight loss, fitness and nutrition. She is an active member of Family Medicine community in Bangalore, Karnataka as well as nationally in Academy of Family Physicians of India.
